documents\electronicarts\thesims3\DCCache
documents\electronicarts\thesims3\SavedSims ?

Did you already try a complete factory reset as described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/ ?
go to CAS make a sim in the looks icon go to eyes and see if cc contact eyes are there
