Thank you for the suggestion about my inability to load my Store content, I like Simmers who are helpful! :)
Fortunately, after reading ALL MORNING I discovered a post by SimGuruKyle that answered my problem. To sum up: Store Content must be verified. My son's computer would not run Pets, so a friend graciously allowed me to "test" the base game and Pets EP on his machine until I can afford a computer that will run the game. Since the store cannot "verify" downloads on his machine I cannot use my store content while playing Pets on his machine. Well... at least he lets me play the Pets when he is not using his computer. YAY!!! He is NOT a Sims3 fan, more of a "war gamer" type, so he will be happy when I have a computer that will run Pets. lol lol
