I played my SV 2 for about 3 hours last night and no lag whatsoever. Whew! I consider myself very lucky. Since uninstalling Pets and ST, I have "community lots" which were buildings from those eps. Instead of using WE, I just converted those lots into ones I can use. :-) I had several proprietors just standing around...wish I could have had them added to my town but instead I just forced kill via MC.

I really glad I'm not having this problem of extreme lagging any more.
