You might want to make sure there are enough beds where you move them. I tend to double up on sims the game moves in as it has a habit of just putting one sims in a great big house. But I add as many game made sims together as possible to free up my houses. Adding a few rooming houses that sleep 8 sims is also a good idea if you have Uni installed.
