browers used in game for Sims 3

I am using Windows 8 or 8-1 not sure which one. I have tried to my browser set up for Ex. but my email address and obsivously game saves have been in Chrome is this due to my email that I am using? I have previously given you different emails and I think that issue has been solved. Not sure. 

I am having issues that I can't hardly explain properly right now. I thought I was able to use different search engines and different browers by using a tab switch option. Something is wrong. When I try to go live I am given an error stating it is unable to run script and do I want to continue if I answer yes it doesn't block me from procedding. I am not sure if I am really going forward or just being idle. I have read so many differnt articles provided by you. I try ferently to adhere to what you suggest, but I only end up confusing myself. 

Originially, my acct. was set up under my son's acct with his daughter. 

We have only tried one time to utilize the Origin plan or downloading and everyone logging on and trying to play the game on the computer with the digital download. It worked great, the only problem that I am aware that caused everything to go crazy is that I had aaked if we could combine our acct to estableish the use of all the disks we had purchased. 

I enjoy these games immensly, I have had great times playing. I have the Sims 4 on my computer as well. I also have the Sims 4 Demo. We purchased the download for it thinking that both she and I could use it.

The last time she logged onto my computer it went absolutely no doubt about it bonkers, I was only able to recover most of the games due to having the disk. Now, my granddaughter is 11 years old. She has been playing OFF LINE for a long time. I only had tried to play recently ONLINE due to missing out on the challenges, or what ever. The gallery is wonderful, I know you have to be online for that. Am I doing something wrong by going online myself? 

There are so many things that I haven't set up on my computer after having to basically wipe it clean and then my son put windows 7 on a year old windows 8 computer that all ready had windows 8 on it.

I was so fearful of doing any kind of update on the computer for Windows thinking I may possibly lose everything I MEAN EVERYTHING...

The computer wouldn't hardly come on.

Regardless, this message should read as two-fold; however, I am up very late, very tired. I wasnted to ask you several questions regarding how the computer should be set up for this, or even if I can or should proceed. I have done all the updates through Origin, and downloaded it  thinking I was leaving out a link or something.

Again I thorougly enjoy the Sims, I had also had a copy of Sims 2 and wasn't able to get it back. The computer tells me I have soooo much memory, but then again I am not able to download copies in storage like I think I should be.

Most all of my files are showing me empty, I am not computer savy. I just know how I like to explain myself and my mind races. Excuse. please.

Too much information for one message? I apologize tor that. I am very confused as you might notice.

The system I am using right now was suppose to be one for that was designed for playing games is what my husband was told when he purchased the computer.(laptop) When I first started with this computer Windows seperated with two sign ins one for simply Origin games and the other without it.

I don't know how to do that. I don't know how or what to do in order to correct this, won't you please help me? I hate to bother you with this.

Initially I didn't get to finish all the question I had when I spoke to a support person a while back. 

I am able to play,not able to keep in a onedrive cloud the copies of everything. I don't know how to put certain files in certain places if that makes any sense to you.
