Does that laptop have a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 750M gaming video chip? There are several models of that lapop but all the ones I looked at had the gaming chip.

You should get a laptop with a good graphics card, yes. Doesn't have to be Nvidia but make sure it has a card and not just a chip.
