cant access the sims3 store

Just wondering if anyone's come across this before. Have an account, can log in fine, can even buy things whilst in game. However when trying to buy something from the store itself, it brings up the pop up to login, i do so, hit the button and it just stays on that login pop up, swirly icon going round. tried it over the course of a couple of days, my internet, pc and all that are fine. and like i said, i can get stuff with my points from the build/buy mode easily but cant get anything only available right now on the store.

yes, have restarted game, pc and all that.

    Are you trying to buy something from withing the game or is that from the website ?

    sorry, didnt quite understand what you meant. I was trying to buy the stiff as a board dancing pole and the chocolate fountain. It just wouldnt sign me in at all, just stayed on that loading pop up loading screen when i signed in. So then i launched the game, and bought the fountain from inside the game in the build/buy mode with no issues, but the ballerina thing isnt available (as far as i can tell) from in the game, you have to buy it from the site.  so yes i was trying to buy something from the sims 3 store direct and it just seems to stay stuck

    What browser are you using ? Have you tried a different one ?

    i mainly use chome, tried with IE but the same thing. if i go to the store and want to get something, it bring the pop up for me to log in and then after ive entered my details and clicked login in it just stays on that screen, the little icon swirling round. I can access the bit of the site where i can access things like this etc, or buy the sim points, it just doesnt seem to log me into the store
