Can't download humble bundle date night
Apparently my account doesn't work for the redeem code page, yet I can login to Origin and post this question. Any help?

You are supposed to use the code in the sims online FIRST before you use it on Origin. If you use it on Origin the code will show as already used. Unfortunately I know this because I too used the code on Origin first. I am not sure if there is anything we can do about this☹️
I have the same problem too. I redeemed the Date Night code thru Origin at the very first day the bundle came out. After 2 days, they added a guide which tells you to redeem the code on the website first. This sucks. I can live with it ofc but it's not good when don't get what you payed for.
