Can't download Origin client

I recently purchased The Sims 3 because of the Labor day sale and when i purchased it, the reciept thing said i had to download origin in order to play it. I thought i had downloaded it before, but i guess i was wrong and i pressed download. When i pressed it a link opened to another page which continoulsy loads and nothing ever downloads. I would like to beleive that i didnt waste 15 dollars and would really like to play the Sims, someone please help.

    @TrollyBashGuy and @slonikpl  Could you try clearing your browser caches?  Or use a different browser.  Also make sure that you don't have any Origin-related files sitting in Downloads, or wherever you've instructed the OriginThinSetup download to land.

    Please also make sure that your antivirus/firewall isn't blocking the download.  You can temporarily disable it, just long enough to download Origin itself, and then reenable it.

    @TTeratron  Would you mind sharing which step(s) helped you solve the issue?  It would be useful information for those still having problems.

    P.S.  EA is aware of the issue; I'll update when there's more information.

    I try to download Origin client again and it's start download immediately without any special steps. 🙂
