Can't Download Purchased Expansion

Question

I cannot get my recently purchased expansion pack to download. The download buttons that are supposed to be on the add-ons tab or under the manage add ons button are not showing up. I have tried the following solutions:

-Clearing EA app cache

-Reinstalling EA App

-Downloading from launcher (Launcher quits unexpectedly)

-Downloading from the sims 3 store website (Takes me to the launcher, see point above).

How do I fix this??

For an expansion, if the EA App is listing it as in-game content, the suggestions in the accepted solution of this thread may help:
