@HereticsSpork As a test, please try installing the items into a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, download fresh copies of a couple items, and see what happens.
If this doesn't help, clear Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data:
then repeat the test.
If that doesn't help either, please let me know whether you've ever had accounts merged, or bought content from two different locations (e.g. Steam and EA), or bought more packs or another copy of the base game since you installed it.
