Can't enter live mode in new town with Seasons installed

I've never had this be a problem before, but recently I've found that when I have Seasons installed I am unable to start playing in live mode in a new world. I assumed it was mod related so I took out my mods (folder and in the launcher), no difference, so I started turning off packs one by one. After I turned off Seasons it worked perfectly, even with all my other packs and mods back on.

The issue occurs when I try to start a new save or move my sim to a new town. The game will load into the world fine and I'll be on the edit world/choose a household screen, no issues at all. I can enter world edit mode, I can place sims, I can enter build mode, I can place lots, no issue. But the second I chose a household or somewhere to live (can be choosing an existing household or moving mine in) and go to live mode, the game freezes as it's zooming into the household.

It freezes in different stages of loading every time, but it never unfreezes and starts working after. Had this issue in Starlight Shores and Roaring Heights so far but I'm not sure if it's world specific or not. The game does work if I start a new household without Seasons, and then turn it on after, but if anyone knows of an easier solution that would be appreciated!
