@dexwillow There's no way to install Sims 3 from these discs without the EA App and without a code, unfortunately. Older discs did allow Origin-free installs, but there's no way around the requirement for the newer ones. And whether you were using Origin or the EA App, you'd need those codes. They're typically 20 characters long and are on a separate piece of paper or on the back of the insert in the case.
The Origin error is because Origin is no longer supported in Windows, having been replaced by the EA App a year ago. But the discs don't know anything about that.
If you had the receipt from this purchase, you might be able to convince an EA support rep to add the content to your account. But without that, I don't think there's any chance of getting help either.
It's not what you're looking for, but if you're still interested in Sims 3, the Starter Pack is sometimes on sale for $10 U.S., typically during common sales events like the weeks of Black Friday and Christmas.
