Can't learn Martial Arts skill

My sims have become unable to learn martial arts through reading or actual training. Does anyone have a clue whats wrong or how to fix it?

    Ok, 

    I guess then I only have a mod solution for you I can't really talk about here. Google nraas overwatch skill modifier if you are willing to use a mod (at your own risk, not supported by EA) or google NRaas mastercontroller reset.

    Sorry, I don't have another solution but pre-existing Sims like to get corrupted.

My sims had no experience in martial arts, as I only recently aquired world adventures. So basically this is only affecting sims from before I installed the EP with the skill
