can't load game... re: expansion pack data that is no longer present...
I can't access world because of "expansion pack data that is no longer present..." I've seen a bunch of posts on this, but none helped. I know it's supposedly one drive, so after I completely uninstalled the sims 3 and the EA app (and quite frankly reset my whole PC), I turned off backup on onedrive for my documents folder. THEN I completely reinstalled the sims 3 and all the expansion packs. It then installed the EA folder to my local documents folder (not to one drive). But I STILL can't access the game I just saved. I also cleared the cache. What gives?
IndyAmy46214 Can you start a new save in Adventureland? It shows up for many people who have an EA App install, but apparently not everyone.
Please also start a new save in Sunset Valley and see whether your packs are loading. If any are missing, quit and uncheck/recheck them in the launcher's Expansions & Stuff Packs tab. If that doesn't restore them either, let me know. If this was a problem but the packs load again, try again to load the save that currently isn't working.
If your packs were always loading correctly, please save your progress in the new Sunset Valley save (no need to play for very long), restart your computer, and see whether you can still load that save.
