KastAshes liliazforever Try deleting the file labeled [your email].bin in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.
If that doesn't work, try clearing all the data listed in the first two replies to this thread:

Hello! I've tried to log in to the launcher again after restarting my PC twice, but it still has the same issue.

i had spoked to the EA team they said that they would work on it . I had a feeling i wasn't the only one going through this situation
