Can't make Simbot in 64bit game

Is anyone else unable to create a simbot in the 64bit version of the game?  I have what I need: palladium, heart-shaped pink diamond, mystery core, life fruit, and scrap.  But when I go to the wok bench, the option does not come up.

    @ashbymcdonaldThis is not a mac specific issue. You also can not create SimBots in the Windows version in Bridgeport. You can use this mod to fix it:

    Edit: Look up the Bridgeport page over at The Sims Wiki. It also mentions this issue.

    I apologize for posting links, I was not aware of that rule. I was just trying to help. Maybe the good people over at EA can update their old games so that posting links about bugfixes won't be necessary.

    @puzzlezaddict Yeah the opportunity is active. I think the issue is I’m in Bridgeport. I moved to a new town, used the cheat to get a new Simbot core, and was able to make one.

    It must be a Bridgeport issue. You can’t go on vacation to do it - you have to moved to a town other than BP.

    @ashbymcdonald  Interesting, I've never tried in Bridgeport.  I wonder whether it's the save or the world.  If you're curious, you could save your household to the library, place a copy in a new Bridgeport save, and cheat to get the core again.
