Can't place Renaissance Faire in Dragon Valley

I can't seem to place the Renaissance Faire in Dragon Valley.   I go to edit town.   I go to the 40 by 40 lot near the tents and change it to a Community Lot--small Park.    I click on the Renaissance Faire and as soon as I click on place copy all the symbols in town disappear and I can't place it anywhere.

Any help appreciated.

    go to edit town choose the lot then build/buy  place some sofas on the lot then bulldoze the lot that should reset the lot for you as sometimes just bulldozing the lot can make the grid disappear so it's best to place some item on it then bulldoze then place your ren faire
