Can't redownload physical purchase
Hi, I've been having an issue recently! I started playing sims 3 before origin accounts were necessary, and most of my stuff is on physical discs. At some point, before origin's accounts became necessary, I got a new computer and re-downloaded the discs onto that computer, which eventually got saved to my EA account. However, I'd lost one disc that I only recently found - Dragon Valley. This was bought in person and downloaded without going through the store onto my old PC. It never got switched over, so it's not listed in my account or purchase history. I'm trying to re-download it but everything says the code has already been redeemed! Is there any way at all I can get it? I still have my old PC with it downloaded. Would I be able to register it to my sims store somehow?
@sacredgem Have you checked your purchase history specifically on the store site? (I'm not sure from how you described the issue.) I see my copy of Dragon Valley there even though the product page tells me I need to buy it again. This is the product page:

And your store purchase history is under Store > My Store Account > Purchase History.
As far as I know, it's never been possible to install store worlds without registering them on that site. But you may have registered the world to a different account, which would explain why you can't find it now. The store and Origin share information, so an old store account would have an Origin account tied to it even if the store account was created when Origin didn't yet exist.
At any rate, you can't use the code again, and you may not be able to convince EA customer support to help either. But if you want to try, take a photo showing the disc, case, and insert with the code visible, and upload it when you're submitting the help request.
