@rasmaldus What happens if you switch to a different household while playing, evict the original household and place them in a different house, then quit to desktop and reload before trying to save them? Be sure to delete the five cache files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 before you start and after you quit to desktop in between steps. For reference, the files are:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
Another thing that sometimes helps is emptying out all the inventories of the affected sims, at least as much as possible. A few items can't be removed, but most of it should be removable.
If that doesn't help, try splitting the household and only saving one half. You probably want to save them all together, but if you can save one half and not the other, you can try splitting the other half again until you find out which sim is affected. (It's still a good idea to quit to desktop, delete the cache files, and reload after saving fails.) If you can save both halves, then maybe the issue is the cumulative size of the household in terms of all the data being saved.
Hi
I tried the different methods and still nothing is working. :/

@rasmaldus If you split just one sim out of the household and try to save them, does that work? (Just saving the sim, not the sim plus their household.) And did you quit to desktop and reload before each attempt?
By the way, what packs do you use, and do you also use mods or custom content? It's fine if you do; I'm just wondering. If you have any adult mods, don't name them, just reference their creators, but anything else is fine to name as long as you don't link the downloads.

Hi
I have tried quitting to the desktop and reloading the game, and doing the method you recommend.
It still seems nothing is working.
I have no mods or any CC.
My packs are World Adventures, Generations, Ambitions, Late Night, High End Loft, and Outdoor Living Stuff.

@rasmaldus Is this the same save? Can you save other households to the bin, either in this save or a new one? Please test and let me know.

I have a similar problem as the guy says. Could you please help me? I am quite desperate.

@jkorenar What exactly happens when you try to save the household, and what have you tried so far? My first suggestion would be to evict the household in Edit Town and save from there; my secnd would be to evict and place the household on an empty lot, quit, delete the cache files (mentioned earlier in the thread), reload, and try to save the household that way.
In either case, don't try to save the house with the sims—it just increases the chances of something going wrong. You can save the house itself separately once the sims have been evicted.
