Cant see cc in game

So I have switch over from sims 4 to sims 3 recently. But I decided to download cc from videos of how to install a mods folder for mods and cc so I download the necessary things that I needed like a mods folder and I even tested the mod folder was working and it did. When I put cc in the package folder and go into the launcher to see what it was installed. Nothing is there, I have tried everything and nothing works

  • @Fallence  The launcher only lists custom content installed through the launcher: Sims3Packs that you place in Downloads and then select and install.  The launcher doesn't know anything about .package files.  The important question is whether those files appear in the game itself.

If you're not seeing them, delete the five cache files in the Sims 3 folder:

    • CASPartCache.package
    • compositorCache.package
    • scriptCache.package
    • simCompositorCache.package
    • socialCache.package

If that doesn't help either, please start with a fresh Mods Framework, downloaded from Mod the Sims; or create your own as described here:

Put a couple of these cc files into Packages, delete the cache files again, and load the game to see whether the content is present.

I'm so sorry i didn't your responses but I did that and deleted those things but it still didn't work . Do you have anything else that you will work?

  • @Fallence  Please post a screenshot of the files that aren't working, as in, I'd like to see their names and file types.  Please also right-click one of them and select Properties > General, then list the Location.
