CATS stretch when idle.

If you've seen my previous post you'll understand. HOWEVER, on a vanilla game. I've never seen dogs stretch, small or large. I've seen them stretch into these long, horrific twingly bodies as if they're attempting to be a sim on my previous computers and devices, but never on mac, actually. I've only seen CATS stretch on my mac. On a completely vanilla game. More specifically, when my sim was moving houses, the cat stretched into a horrific skeleton-thingy as she was leaving through the front door. Do cats have missing animations?? Will this EVER be fixed?? Is there a mod to fix this, missing animations???

@Werusek-2000  Maybe no one figured out how to prevent this in all cases, or the people who could were occupied with game-breaking bugs.  (Think NRaas mods and the like.)  I don't actually know for sure that no mod exists, and you might find one, or a modder willing to look into the issue, on the Mod the Sims site.  You could try the NRaas site as well—at the very least, people there should be able to tell you if there's a working mod somewhere.  I know a lot about mods, but not anywhere near everything.

  • @Werusek-2000  I don't know what to tell you.  Yes, cats sometimes try to do something for which they don't have an animation.  I think it's less that "cats have missing animations" than "cats sometimes try to do an action that should be blocked for them," but it amounts to the same thing.  And no, Sims 3 issues aren't getting fixed.  I don't know of a mod that fixes it either.  Most people just learn to look away.
