Computer help

@Sunset_Gossip This computer should run Sims 3, all content included, on ultra settings, minus the two (water and high-detail lots) that need to be turned down to lower the workload of the game engine. I don't think this processor is one of the models affected by the Alder Lake/Raptor Lake issue, but just in case, the workarounds are summarized in the accepted solution of this thread:
Finally, you'll need to take steps to limit your in-game framerates, as Sims 3 doesn't have an fps limiter of its own and this GPU is fast enough to generate wildly high fps if left to its own devices. (This would be true for any graphics card capable of ultra settings.) There's not much point in going through the process until the computer, this one or another model, is in front of you, but at that point, feel free to come back and ask for help.
The short version is, this computer should handle Sims 3 very well, and if it's in your price range, than it's an excellent purchase.
