Corrupt Deltabuild Packages with Patch

Hi, I've seen this problem multiple times now and am now trying to go through EA to see if I can find a solution that will fix it.  Everytime I patch The Sims 3, I have used a third party custom content scanner to check for bad custom content.  The first time I used it, it automatically scanned the game files located in Program Files on the C: Drive and I noticed that Deltbuild0.package, Deltabuild_p02.package, and Deltabuild_p06.package are labelled as a bad download/corrupt.  While those are labelled as bad, Deltabuild 1 and 2 I believe are not labelled (meaning they are fine).  It appears to be every single patch as I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game during different patches and each time notice these files labelled as corrupt.  I do not know if anyone knows a fix for this but I have tried many things (installing the patch in safe mode, after different expansions, before installing expansions, etc., and nothing seems to work.  Any suggestions or fixes would be helpful!  Thanks!

  • The scanner is not for scanning game files (assuming you're talking about Delphys Dashboard/Custard). It's for scanning your custom content.

Do you actually have any issues in your game ?

I am talking about Delphy's Dashboard.  As I said, the first time I used it, it automatically scanned the game files and that's when I noticed the corrupt/bad download files.

I don't believe I have any issues pertaining to custom content, but after installing patches I do notice that loading all worlds takes a bit longer and the load bar pauses in the same place.  I don't know if this is due to the size of the patch or if the corrupt Deltabuild packages cause this slow down.  If loading is affected, who knows what else might be.

    Thanks for your reply!

I wouldn't worry too much about it if you don't have any major issues. Dashboard is a third party tool and not supported by EA.
