Forum Discussion
Hello. I also use Modthesims.info. Mods may be causing your game to work incorrectly. This happens when they conflict (when two or more mods you have edit the same file) and when they are outdated. All mods that you download should be updated tothe latest patch. If you are unsure if they are patched or not, delete the mods folder. You can download another mods folder from this link: http://elisiasimspage.weebly.com/mods.html That page also contains some tips on using mods. The creator of the mod should say that it's updated. If not, don't download it.
Thank you for the reply. I have deleted the mod folder altogether, but the problem persists.

I checked out the forum and the general consensus was that deleting the lot altogether should fix the crash. I guess it was a corrupt lot issue.
Thanks for the suggestions.
