creating a new sim

Im new to this game and was wondering if its possible to creat a new sim to live with a existing sime your playing..

    while your in your game playing go to the  three dots ... this will take you to a menu click edit town you will be given an option to save your game or iginore saving  there you will see a big square box with people on it click it that is also known as CAH( create a household) this will then take you to CAS( create a sim) from there you can create your sim be it male female toddler child  teen young adult adult or elder you can then make your sim while in CAS you hav eoptions to change the hair face shape eye shape etc etc and to choose the clothing for oyur sim everyday ware/formal/nighttime/atheltic/swimwear and if you have seasons the choice to select outerwear onve you are happy with your sim after selecting the traits (that will be bottom of th list in CAS ) the sound of the voice and the LTW (life time wish ) for example cullinary libirian your sim will need to learn 28 recipies to acheive this goal once your done with your sim tick accept this will take you to the libiary from the libiary selcet your sim click on the house you want them to live in then accept if you want that sim to live in your already sim house just click that hous eyou will then have the option to merge the household click accept then back to game while in cas you can make a few sims that can be a family or  housemates or husband and wife fiancee of etc etc for that you will tick the edit relantionships then drag one sims pictur eover to the other then choose sibling of ( for brothers and sisters ) tick accept and away you go

    p.s.

    you can have up to 8 sims living in the one house (and a couple of pets if you have the pets game i think 3 pets is th emax if you have afull house of sims i.e.8 sims )
