Game will not run after new patch was installed
@cyberpunk309 What happens when you try to play? If you're seeing the activation error, just close it and try again.
Says Sim3 3 launcher has stopped working
@cyberpunk309 Please repair the game (EA App > Sims 3 > Manage > Repair). If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to your reply.

OK , repair did not work. Also still running windows 7( yes, the computer is that old). I will be updating soon, I wonder if the patch is for the newer windows?
