Uninstall your most recent EP then download and reinstall the digital version from Origin. Instructions here.
I've moved your post to this stickied thread. Please read the instructions in the opening post link. You do not have to uninstall your entire game, just your most recent EP/SP. You also need to download and install the digital version of the 1.67 patch.
Thank you! I just have one more question - if I uninstall the most recent expansion pack, will this delete/corrupt/in any way tamper with the save files I currently have for games using that expansion pack?

Having the same problem still haven't solved
So I know this is the solution but here's the problem. I downloaded the base game, Late Night, Supernatural and Seasons as well as High End Loft Stuff over two years ago and since then have completely lost my game codes. Does this mean my game is completely unsalvageable?
I don't know what else to suggest, the fix does work so long as you follow all the instructions correctly, which I'm sure you have. As a last resort set up a new user account on your Mac and try playing in that.
Do you still have the games installed on your Mac? If so you can use Terminal to get the product codes - https://bluebellflora.com/finding-your-serial-key-using-terminal/
If you don't, did you register them on the old Sims 3 site? You could contact EA and see if they can provide them to you - http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/
