Custom Sim passed to me through Simport!
So I am dealing with another technical malfunction with Showtime (can't interact with one of my sims anymore) and I decide to try to start a new game to see if this is happening with new games as well...

I think just 3rd party. You'll need to weed through a hell of a lot of crap before finding anything you'd like, anyway, I'm guessing.
And it's dangerous because then they have a Sims3Pack of your Sim. For all you know, they'll take your sim and upload it to the exchange. You have no way of proving you were the one who made it.
