Editted: Apparently this isn't how to add a screen shot since the link was disabled. ☹️

was waiting for you leave out all of those for now replace one at a time to see starting with the hair
So far I've gotten the hair colors and the earrings back in - no problems.
I just started the hairs.
good luck
Ok, I think I may be more confused then ever. :S
I reinstalled the 3rd party CC in my launcher one by one. Not a single one made the red X come back.
I started my game - it started smoothly and seems good. I restarted my pc and my launcher several times. Still no red X.
I have no idea what to think. I'm sure it has something to do with the .dbc file but I'm not sure what.
I have to go to bed - if there is still no X when I get up, I might just breathe a sigh of relief and call it cured.
Thank you again for your time, patience and help.
I'll keep you posted.
your welcome 🙂
The red X is back.
:'( :'( :'(
I don't have time to mess with it again tonight. I'll start again tomorrow. >☹️
I'm so confused - the X was there the last time I turned on my pc and now I turn on my pc and it's gone. I waited a 30 minutes and again turned on my launcher and it's back. WTH is that about?
might be time to see if the game will load up by bypassing the launcher and fot that i have to find crin's help page on that

When the red X is not there, my game starts perfectly and plays perfectly.
Only when the red X is there, my game doesn't want to start.
