Deleted my account for 1yr inactivity

Good morning,

I had an account associated with a different email address than the account I am making this post on. On that account I had the sims 3 and ALL of its content except maybe one content pack. It has been approximately one year since my last use of the account possibly very slightly over or under. I tried to log in to download my games and was told my credentials expired, tried resetting my password, it says its sending me an email but none ever come. I contacted support 3x and was only told to reset my password because my account was deleted and the only way to recover it is to go through the password reset process. I am EXTREMELY frustrated as I have had this account for many years and spend near if not over $1k+ in the sims 3 between buying the content new and buying sims points. I have asked that they either restore my account or furnish me with codes to add the games to this account that is associated with my Xbox live account, I am requesting this as a fair resolution because their own EULA clearly states they will only take this action after 2 years of inactivity. I am tired of being brushed off when contacting support, and would like this resolved immediately, I do not want to but will create a complaint/report with the consumer protection agency, FTC, and Michigan attorney generals office consumer division, I feel it is very unethical for EA to be denying me access to these games which I have spent so much of my hard earned funds on. Please correct this issue.

Hey @DanthegreatV , I'm sorry you can't get access to your account.

I don't think your account is completely deleted, because deleting accounts is a whole procedure that needs that account owner to contact support and the agents to go through a lot of actions to delete an account. Your older account is probably just stuck in an inactive state which is usually solved by resetting the password.

What email domain do you have on your older account? Don't give me the full email address, just the domain (ie. Gmail, Yahoo etc.). Sometimes some domains have troubles receiving our mails so maybe there are some troubleshooting steps we can try.

It's likely we'll have to refer you to support again since we don't have any tools on the forums to help you recover your account, or anything to load account details, but we can see if we can avoid you to go through support again in the first place.
