[DESPERATE] "The Sims 3 has stopped working" after 10-20 minutes of playing (every time)

Some notes:

I have no custom content or mods.

I haven't purchased anything from the store.

I bought it a few days ago like my laptop. The game is "fresh out of the box" if you will.

Another note: I never run any programs in the background during attempted gameplay.
