Trying to re-install the sims 3 onto my laptop an an error message keeps appearing. Sometimes it will download and then the message will appear right before it is complete. I have restarted my computer multiple times, and have even reset/ deleted and redownloaded origin. I dont know what to do, I just bought this game last year! I attached a photo of what is appearing below. Thank you for your help.
@Katie4747 I'm guessing you're using a Mac, and it's running Catalina. If so, then Sims 3 won't install or run—the game is 32-bit, and Catalina is 64-bit only. There's no way around this problem. But EA has announced a 64-bit-compatible version of TS3, to be released some time in early 2020. Here's the full announcement:
In the meantime, your only option is to play in another operating system, either on a different computer, or by installing another OS on your Mac.
