I only have the main Sims 3 game and Ambitions & World Adventures. I have previously been able to download items from the exchange and the store without problems but now it won't do ANYTHING!
I've followed all of the FAQ's on this but still nothing. When I click to download something it simply doesn't appear on my download tab in the launcher - at all.
Please help!
What browser are you using ? Did you try a different one ?
What is your base game version right now ?
Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.
If you're not at 1.63, please update your game.
I have exactly the same problem as the starter of the thread and I contacted the Direct call and they told me to clear the cache which I did and it made no difference whatsoever, probably cos I have just realised I have it on clear all my history on shutting down!!
Apparently they have had a number of peeps calling about the same issue so its in the hands of the techies!!
I am also having a prob with Uni. I have sent my 4 star celeb, and rather than putting her in the bungalow alone where she ended up getting lonely it was pitiful LOL, I stuck her in the Sorority house. First morning, no one would leave the building, the congregated around te front door and there they stayed I tried allsorts. No one could talk to anyone else as they were heading to class, I tried sending my Sim by using the go there to the top step, nothing. It got that bad that some of them peed themselves and others passed out with either hunger or tiredness. I managed to get my Sim up into her room to study but all the others stood their festering in a mass of human urine soup LOL
Anyhoo, I just hope that Sims 4 is less aggriivating!!!
agreed! are any of you working on a mac? im using a macbook pro and im having very similar problems. i just want to play midnight hollows!!!
