Drink tray stuck to a sim's hand :-0

One of my Sims has a drink tray stuck,upside down on her left hand & I don't know how to get it to go away. Any advice would be appreciated as to how to get this to go away. It's kinda' funny,it just...

    Hello crinrict, I tried what you said "object delete" and it didn't work but I didn't know anything about how to use cheats on this game so I did a little searching and found that 'resetSim' Melody Trufer worked after I had her go to the pond in front of the house,then went into cheat mode and entered resetSim.She returned home completely fine & the tray was sitting on the floor. I'm sure that 'Delete object' would work but I just wanted to say I appreciate your help in helping me brainstorm.You helped me figure it out and I thank you.

  1. Backup your game (either use save as, copy the folder in saves or make a copy on the overview page)
  2. Pause your game
  3. Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
  4. Shift-click on the tray and choose object-delete
  5. Make sure you don't delete the Sim by accident. If you do, exit the game without saving and try again.
