EA App detects Sims 3 is running when it's not

I recently switched from Origin to the EA app and now I've had this issue where I will exit TS3 as normal and the app will still detect it as running. It won't let me exit the EA app and it shows the...

@puzzlezaddict Offline mode did actually fix this, but it happened again once I went back online. I don't have OneDrive installed and I whitelist all my games and launchers from my antivirus to avoid any such conflicts.

@cursdgamerchild  Try disabling any overlays, notifications, and anything else you can reach within the EA App's settings.  Or you can continue to play with the App in offline mode and hope this issue gets patched—the App is still very much a work in progress, with a number of features currently getting attention.
