Why can't I download The Sims 3 from the EA app?
I bought the EA play subscription specifically to play The Sims 3, but it gives me an error everytime I try to download it. I tried deleting cache, reinstalled the app, reinstall C++add on, I tried everything mentioned before, if someone could help me that's be nice.

@puzzlezaddict Thanks for replying! When I try to download it, it doesn't load the folder path for it automatically, I have to select the EA games folder manually, after hitting "Next" the download starts as "Paused", and when I try to resume the download, it gives the error seen on the picture I attached. I also attached the view of the file path download and add-ons window for context (after I selected the download path).

I am also having this problem. It also tries to download all the expansion packs i own before the base game
@rosiealej I've merged your posts with the master thread for this particular error. Unfortunately, there's no workaround at the moment, but the issue has been reported and EA has been trying to fix overall downloading issues for a while now, according to EA posts in various threads. You can keep an eye on this thread for updates.
That goes for everyone else too: this thread will be updated with new information or any EA requests for more details.
