@eventoowish This error is still the Alder Lake issue, so you're not applying the Task Manager method correctly. This is the important part:
Fault Module Name: TS3.exe

Exception Offset: 005511f2
This error is extremely specific, at least in this particular context. Please make sure you're applying the workaround to TS3.exe, without the W, rather than TS3W.exe.
If you can't get the Task Manager method to work, you can try the PowerShell method, or the Process Lasso method mentioned early in the Alder Lake thread.
@puzzlezaddict Yeah, I think my issue could've been that TS3.exe doesn't appear after the window opens -- after further review of the YouTube video.
In my TM it only showed Sims3Launcher.exe then it disappears, sims 3 launcher window opens, gives a black screen then error message once I attempt to click play. I'm going to try the powershell method now.
