elixir store glitch in supernatural

i cannot get my elixir store to let me buy i have done everything that the forum says cleaned out inventory no special seeds or fruits deleted and loaded game again/ bought alchemy store, sold alchemy store and rebought. bought new cash register everything i can think of nothing is working. i need elixir store buy mode to work what do i need to do to make it work?
