@CAHbKA78 Yea after installing this update I stopped getting the error 16 and I can save my game like how I used to like "island paradise" "Island paradise 1" instead of having to do a whole new name every time I save.
I even clicked save and quit and it did it successfully.
Gonna see how it is when I install more of my store content. Hopefully it's fully fixed.
It's a bit better after the update, I can save somehow. But the game still crashes without any error massages while I'm in build mode and I can’t stay in CAS mode more than a few minutes. *cries*
The game runs like butter, but I see my new RTX 3080, using much more memory than my old one (GTX 970) right from the start on MSI Afterbuner.
I really hope we get 64 bit version for Windows!!!! Pleeeease!!! I have all EPs, all SPs and all store content installed (I paid for them all if you know what I mean) by the way.

@chopin27 Have you taken steps to manually limit the in-game framerates on this shiny new 3080 of yours? If not, that's a crucial step and could account for the crashing. Let me know if you need help with the process.

Thank you for your kind reply, @puzzlezaddict .
Yes, I have! Vsync is turned on, the graphics card was recognized, texture memory size part was fixed on the graphicrules.sgr and GeForce experience has been uninstalled.
I’ve also lowered the graphics settings to basic too, most of them are set to application controlled or recommended setting.

@chopin27 You've also checked in-game to make sure the v-sync setting is being honored? If not, please do so now, with the cheat fps on.
If that's not the issue, please try playing in a clean folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then launch the game to create a new folder. Don't change any of the graphics settings except for the resolution, which you should change to match your monitor. And don't add any of your existing content to the new folder either. Just start a new save in Sunset Valley and let me know how it runs.
If you get another crash, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
