PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

This error is usually caused by a firewall or antivirus blocking the connection. Turn if off for patching, then turn back on.

AVG is the only thing I have installed. I disabled it and it will still not download.

    Did you only install the smaller incremental patches or also the large super patch ?

      I installed the super patch a few weeks ago, I tried installing the incremental patch last night and this AM.
