@amjoie: We discussed that already in another thread and Sincerbox summed it up pretty good.
Then please link that thread to this one. The bug team will need all the information available, on this one thread, rather than having to search for it. Thank you! :D
Here is a recent thread where another simmer is complaining of this issue. This simmer does not use CC.

I think there is a bigger issue with ITF. The time is messed up. It takes my sim like 3 minutes sim time to do any part of an action. 3 minutes to go to the food machine, 3 min to hit what she wants, 3 minutes to pick up the plate, 3 min to go to the table, 3 min to put the plate down on and on. Going to bed is really bad. I can't wait for her to be really tired or she'll be red zone by the time she hits the pillow. It has taken her 15 minutes sim time, from stepping upon the platform until she lays down in bed.
It seems to get worse the longer you play. Clearing caches helps some. The Sim is the only thing that is lagging, the rest of the actions are running fine. This has to be a bug.
I had one time where the time totally reset backwards about 10 hours sim time. She was out late, started for home at 3 AM. Got home and it was 7PM the night before. I've had smaller time jumps forward of 20 to 30 minutes frequently. I've tried to deal with this, but I'm not that good any more dealing with bugs. I just turned it off after clearing caches 3 times. I hope they patch for this. No mods BTW, vanilla game.
Here is the thread where I first reported having this issue. Another simmer with not mods confirms the type of problem we are discussing in my thread.

The lag I am experiencing has nothing to do with the video card. I can pan across the neighborhood seemlessly a dozen or more times while I am waiting for a near frozen sim to figure out how to sit down at a table to eat a meal.
And as I detailed in my opening post there was no lag when I first started playing the game. It has creeped up over time in my current game. If I start a new game with fresh sims (and none of the skills I have spent weeks developing) there is no lag.
Hello!I am having this problem too, I still have normal sounds but my sim is stuck in place except that they move their arms and head around, the sky gets light and dark but the clock stays the same time and I can pan the camera about no problem but my sim won't perform the action selected and their needs deteriorate as if time was passing. So frustrating!
I do not have any mods or CC so I know that's not it and it's happened with two different save files, one fairly new while the other is old. It seems to me its a game thing and if so I hope it gets fixed... sooner rather than later!
