I'm confused about why I am NOT seeing any of these things.
Is it because I play with aging off, and story progression off? Is it because I did a factory reset rather than play an old save? Is it because I never went to Uni or Dystopia? Is it because I haven't gotten around to installing any store stuff, yet? Is it because I haven't added any mods, yet? Is it because all my game installers (I have all expansions and stuff packs) are DVDs? Is it that the superpatch I installed was downloaded rather than through origin?
Is it my computer specs? (This is a great computer, but definitely not top of the line.)
My computer stats:

There must be some reason my game is playing perfectly, except for the few bugs I have listed on Crinrict's bug thread. I don't think it is a matter of blind luck. I'm wracking my brains trying to figure out what I am doing (or not doing) that is making the difference.
I think I'm going to try opening an old game with all the store stuff installed and old saves, to see if I can kick up the bug. But it sounds like I'll have to play it a while, so it may be a bit before I get back to this thread.
