Well. You could say sims in slow motion or frozen sims. It depends on how many alarms you are getting. It also may depend on how good your computer is. I have seen people make statements in the IP forum that they have never had lag or bugs in Isla Paradiso. I just roll my eyes when I read someone saying something like that. But who knows? Maybe they have uber-powered PC's. I think everyone who has the ToP should pull it and see if their game runs faster and smoother. Mine sure seems to.
Now that I am playing my Sunset Valley game without the ToP I am thinking I did have the bug but it just hadn't gotten really bad yet. Cyron and I weren't experiencing this thing identically. He talks about his sims being frozen. Mine were never actually frozen. They were just doing everything in verrrrry slooooooow motion as relates to the clock. Every command I gave them they would have to stand there and think about it first and then they would eventually initiate the activity. And as I said previously, my game just got slower and slower over time. I think the lag was always there from the beginning but in my case it took 12 sim weeks to make the game unplayable.
