fairies usually go to the Arboretum - to forsake the fae do you have an Arboretum in the world your playing in ? if not there is one of two things you can do
start a game in moonlit falls then throw any old sim into a house just to get the game started then go to edit town find the Arboretum click on it then save a copy to the library then quit the game start the launcher again go to your save game your playing then go to edit town and place the saved copy of the Arboretum into your world or a fairy sim can be returned to be normal by using the potent cure elixir if you don't have the potent cure elixir keep going to the elixir shop until one shows up and buy it or have a friends send the potent cure elixir via the in game gifting
