it could be the work outfit is corrupt believe me it happens with mod free,CC free games too
try have the sim in everday ware first then click on a dresser-plan outfit if the sim has more than one carrer outfit delete the extra outfits if the sim has one work outfit plan a new outfit for the sim and have him wear that one
