Freezes and Crashes after 5 minutes
EVERYTIME I play, it freezes and THEN crashes.....What can I do to fix this? I have a few expansion packs, do I need to buy another one to fix this?

I can only play 5-10 minutes and always freezes then crashes and says error occurs.
I have pets, the travel one, monte vista, master stuff, and a few others I can't remember right now.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:
If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.
If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:
1. Click On Start
2 Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Click Save All Information.
Either use two posts to post all or only post the part up to [sound device].
Please let me know if you have a switchable graphic card. That usually does not show in the DxDiag.- Approved
We are having a very similar issue. We are running Win 8 with seasons, super natural, late night, ambitions, world adven, generations, pets, katy perry sweet treats, and we are struggle getting monte vista installed right now (with Monte Vista we get the Sims3 Ops message after entering code to redeem, can not read the full ops message on the scree).
The game hangs about every hours "sims time" when I go to a different sims world (example, China). Some times it will stop with Sim3 has stopped working error with a Win8 message but we also have seen this on the previous XP (different computer).

@ktsims3adler: Could you please make your own thread if my statement below does not help you. With crashes it's easier if everyone has their own.
From your DxDiag it shows that you have a graphic chip with only 32 MB of dedicated memory so unless you also have a graphic card in there, that's probably the cause (China has tons of lags issue on it's own: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/09/bug-lags-in-china.html )
