@brookecastro Isla Paradiso is very broken out of the box, unfortunately. It normally doesn't crash right away, but your laptop's hardware is right on the border of what might be expected to run Sims 3 with all expansions. So the combination of a broken world and borderline hardware may be the issue.
If you'd like to try playing in IP again, try this fixed version instead:

Among other things, the fog should be removed right out of the gate, which may make the difference between the save crashing and not.
Otherwise, you'll be better off sticking to more stable worlds like Sunset Valley. Some custom worlds are workable too, although I would recommend reading some reviews before committing to one. The features of the Island Paradise expansion work fine and can be used in any world with deep-enough water.
Hi again I know it's been awhile since I contacted you anyways I've been trying to see if I can get Isla Paradiso to work again. I followed what you said about trying the link and that worked so that's good. Remember how I told you that I downloaded all those mods for more free play in the game and to possibly fix it too. Now that I added all those mods, errors come up sometimes but I'm still able to play. Do you know how to det rid of some of the errors that pop up or fix it so errors don't pop up.

@brookecastro Are you getting any other pop-ups you're worried about? And are you running into any issues other than this?

It will say like 91 vehicles have been removed or unroutable child found. Other than that I think everything is going good. I want to ask though does going back and forth to different households affect your game?

@brookecastro The removed vehicles is Overwatch doing its job, and you don't need to worry about it from a performance standpoint unless the number starts approaching or surpassing a thousand. (Then it would be time to install NRaas Traffic.) Unroutable sims happen, and you can ignore this too as long as it's not too frequent (more than once or twice a day). If it is, or if the same sims are mentioned too often, let me know. A recovered wandering toddler should also be a rare occurrence.
Switching between households is itself fine, although you'll notice that the sims lose their promised wishes and opportunities. There's a way around that, if you're interested, but having too many sims with active dream managers at once will drag down performance. So it's best to be selective.
If you have overstuffed households or any other circumstances that the game wouldn't normally allow, you may find that those fall apart after you've switched households. For example, an overstuffed household might get broken up into multiple smaller ones. There are ways to prevent that too, but there's no point if it's not a current problem for you.
