@brookecastro Isla Paradiso is very broken out of the box, unfortunately. It normally doesn't crash right away, but your laptop's hardware is right on the border of what might be expected to run Sims 3 with all expansions. So the combination of a broken world and borderline hardware may be the issue.
If you'd like to try playing in IP again, try this fixed version instead:

Among other things, the fog should be removed right out of the gate, which may make the difference between the save crashing and not.
Otherwise, you'll be better off sticking to more stable worlds like Sunset Valley. Some custom worlds are workable too, although I would recommend reading some reviews before committing to one. The features of the Island Paradise expansion work fine and can be used in any world with deep-enough water.
Here is what it says
- 2 years ago@brookecastro these are not errors; the game is just letting you know that you have installed certain mods and if this window appears, it means you have installed them correctly and they are working

Is it supposed to do it every time you go into play?
- 2 years ago@brookecastro yes, but there is a mod that can remove this. it’s called "no “mods scripts found" and can be found on modthesims
