Yes, My game says it is not in the database. The device config log says this NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 [Found: 0, Matched: 0], so I know it is not reconized by my computer. I don't know what to do because I can't fix it.
My game will start sometimes but the graphics are crappy. I can tell it is not using my new card but relying on the card that came with the computer.

So you also have an intel chip in your computer ? Is that what you mean ?
If so just try the second part of this: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2013/06/getting-the-game-to-recognize-your-card.html where it says: You have two graphics cards
Ignore the rest.

Hello, My problem there is where it says select the preferred graphics processor ) when I open up my Nvidia control manager it does not say that. It has this instead,(specify the settings for this program). It doesn't have a number 3 under that where I can change the card to the Nvidia. My computer is a windows 8.1. Could that have something to do with it. Where do I go to change the card to the Nvidia card? I tried to copy and paste it so you could see but it wouldn't copy. Is there somewhere eles in the 3D manager that I can go to change the card. Why doesn't it have a space there where I can change it ? Please help me if you possibly can. Thank you, Linda

Hello again, I meant to say it doesn't have a number 2 where it ask to change the card. It only goes to the Specify the settings for this program. If I could click on the change the graphics card to Nvidia 750 my problems would be solved but it doesn't give me that option. Do you have any ideas why it is like that?
Thank you for your help, Linda
